Ramble to Epiphany

Create a hypothetical film festival that highlights a filmmaker and his or her films. Extract a theme that ties together all of the director’s chosen movies, and create several deliverables in an integrated visual system.

Richard Linklater is an exceptional independent filmmaker. In most of his films, he utilizes dialogue to portray the development and growth of discontent young adults. To grasp the casual and unintentional atmosphere in his movies, I used hand-drawn type and line illustrations as my primary visual. For packaging, I chose materials that are commonly found and used in young people’s daily life.
